Sometimes the best projects start just because you want to see if you can build something yourself. I originally just wanted to recreate a dynamic spotlight animation I saw, but once I had the "Lights" sequence working, I decided to build out the full cinematic phrase.

I treated each word as its own visual element. The goal was to bring the text to life using my knowledge in motion graphics and After Effects. By sticking to a stark black-and-white palette, I forced myself to rely entirely on motion, pacing, and sound design to carry the weight of the animation. It was a pure exercise in timing and turning static typography into an experience.
